Aam Aadmi Party is an Indian Political Party which was formed on26 November 2012 and is the currently the ruling party of the national capital which is Delhi . It came into existence because of the difference in the views of the activists Arvind Kejriwal and Anna Hazare regarding the objective whether or not to politicise the India Against Corruption movement which required the Jan Lokpal Bill. In 2015 Aam Aadmi Party won 67 out of 70 seats in Delhi elections. It was in competition with Bhartiya Janta Party who won the remaining 3 seats and Indian Congress Party who didn’t win any seats.. In 2020 elections Aam Aadmi Party won 62 seats out of 70 seats, where BJP won 8 seats and INC won none.

AAP ka Report Card
Aam Aadmi Party’s national conveyer Arvind Kejriwal launch a campaign “AAP ka Report Card” which defined 10 achievements of the Aam Aadmi Party Government in the last five years. The campaign was to take this report card to thirty five lakh houses of the capital and was supposed to run for 10 days.
Education
Coming on to the education sector Arvind Kejriwal said that the quality of education and infrastructure has declined in past 70 years. The fact that only 17000 classrooms were made in the past 70 years , whereas Aam Aadmi Party made 20000 classrooms in only five years. None of the states has made these many classrooms yet in a government school. The budget made for education under the power of Aam Aadmi Party was more than three times of budget what it was before that.

Unauthorised colonies
Aam Aadmi Party spent over eight thousand crores for the development of unauthorised colonies. The changes were made which helped in developing a UAC resident as a middle class resident who believed that the government is woking towards the progress of the colonies.
Healthcare
Aam Aadmi Party worked towards opening new mohalla clinics and opened more than 400 clinics and also worked towards improving the infrastructure of government hospitals. In 2015 around sixteen thousand cases of dengue were recorded and around sixty people died because of it, whereas in this year there were no deaths recorded because of dengue. Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinic - for primary health care. Multi Speciality Poly Clinic, Multi-Speciality Hospital, Super-Speciality Hospital were also opened in the tenure.
Administration
Jan Lokpal Bill was passed by the assembly which was an anti corruption watchdog. The Delhi accident policy was formulated which stated that in case any person is hurt in an accident then the cost will be bore by the government. The RWA was given more rights and power. Cctv cameras were installed . Delhi health policy was also drafted which stated the fixed margins over medicine and drugs.
Infrastructure
Aam Aadmi Party launched NITI aayog in Delhi for four projects in Delhi which was to provide the support services for these projects. The most awaited signature project was completed which was built on the banks of river Yamuna. Azadpur flyover was also completed under the budget saving hundred crores. 20 crores were also saved in the Bhalaswa Flyover.

The report card also included the achievements of the government in the areas of women security, public transport and new age decisions.budget for healthcare was also doubled, provided free electricity, water, WiFi services and free bus rides for women along with the doorstep delivery of services.
